Le Manoir de Contres is a magnificent stately home built in 1818. Turned into a comfortable hotel in 2011 it is a haven of peace in a private estate of 2.5 acres.
The manor house is located in the small town of Contres, a couple of
hours south of Paris in the very heart of the Loire Valley and its
